Baby Slings For Babies 0-4 Months

For this age the sling will be worn "Backwards" that is, with the buckle on your back and pad on your shoulder blade - tail hanging down your back.

Put the sling on first, then spread the sling and lie your baby in, being careful to cradle the baby's head. The crook of your arm is often best. Find a position that is comfortable for yourself and your babe.
Try moving immediately, it will imitate the motion and balance she enjoyed in the womb.
Take baby's weight & tighten till comfortable.
When putting baby down to sleep, undo buckle, place baby down in sling - so as not to waken.

The Joey Position
(for babies 3 months and up)
With the baby's back to the wearer, pull the sling up in front of the baby, cross the legs. Check that the bottom is lower than the feet and that the sling is pulled up at the back so baby is secure.

Snuggle Hold
To adjust the sling take weight of baby with one arm and pull the strap. To lower, lift the buckle.
